Mi Rutina Diaria

We have learned vocabulary and grammar structures dealing with our daily routines for getting ready to go somewhere. We also learned what  reflexive verbs are in Spanish and how to use them correctly in our writing and during conversation. As a project we were required to use our avatar from Voki to discuss our daily routines for getting ready to go to school.

These are the steps i followed to create my daily routine project:

  • I wrote a script that I could read when recording my voice on my avatar

  • I submitted my rough draft to my teacher for her to review and look for mistakes

  • I corrected my script and practiced my pronunciation of the words

  • I used my phone to call in and record my daily routine script

This project counts as my six weeks test grade.

Here is my Voki:

I actually really enjoyed this project, I thought it was fun to create a Voki avatar. I don’t like how my voice sounds recorded, so i didn’t like that part of the project. I had to record it over and over again before I got it right. It took me a while but I thought it turned out neat. I would much rather do projects this way rather than getting up and speaking in front of the class. I like the avatars because you get to say everything you need without embarrassing yourself in front of the class.

  1. Your blog looks really good and your grammar seems to work on my standards. I do not agree with you on the matter of liking the project. Don’t you think that we should push towards paper since technology is not always reliable and can malfunction? I don’t want to put the weight of my grade on trusting the computer to work every time I get online. Your recording was good. I agree with you when it comes to not liking the way your voice sounds hen it is recorded. I didn’t like mine either and it took me about 7 tries to get it the way I wanted. Overall, good post.
